"Finally," he muttered as she slipped around the barrier. He got ready to follow her, flexing his hands as he got used to the weight of the gauntlets and serrated claws that had appeared when he had first activated his powers. If he wanted to do any attacking, he would have to get up close which was not ideal with so many opponents.

Before he could jump into the fray he was caught off guard by the unexpectedly exceptional guitar solo. He blinked in surprise- was that just her powers? or was she actually some sort of secret rock star?

Focus. That was a question for later. He darted after her and threw himself towards the nearest monster, digging his claws into it's nebulous form.
