She looks around, and spots a ladder down from the structure's roof, which she takes, but loses sight of Nova Sunbeam, or whatever his name is. How's she supposed to know? She can barely hear anything up here.
There's a moment, of apprehension. Of raw fear. An instinct, telling her to flee.
