Stars of the Nashira OOC

Thank you everyone once again for joining my little game, and I hope you've enjoyed the first month! Since we've gone through one event cycle and you know what to expect from subsequent events, I wanted to take this opportunity to ask for any feedback you might have for me as a mod.

If there was anything that you felt didn't work so well for your character, or you'd like to see done differently in future events, please let me know. Likewise, if there was anything you really liked and DEFINITELY want to see more of, let me know about that too! My number one job here is facilitating a good time for everyone and I'd like to run my game in a way that provides maximum fun.

Hi everyone and thank you for being here!! The game will officially open when the intro log goes up tomorrow (Saturday, May 3), but in the meantime, here are a few reminders and some things you can expect from the first month of the game.

First, app-related business! I'll be getting to all apps and app comments tonight. If your app has already been accepted, make sure you've posted to the taken and AC pages. And we have a character info template here for use on your character's journal!

This game runs on a monthly cycle. Details about the event format can be found on this page, but here is a quick overview. Tomorrow and at the start of each IRL month, a game update will go up on thenashira, which also serves as a general open log for the first half of the month. The game update will lay out the general status quo for the month as well as any news & rumors going the city and any relevant updates from Nautis. The game update also serves a soft setup for the month's event.

Around mid-month, an event signup post will go up on nashira_ooc with information about the missions for the month's event. Signups will be open for a couple of days, after which point I do the event rolls and post the results along with the event log a couple of days later. Rinse, repeat, character development and drama!! This month's event is on the lighter side so you guys have the room to thread out any Episode 0-related happenings as you please.

Your character will earn Star Points (SP) for signing up for missions, and they can also be earned with AC proofs (see the Activity Check and Rewards pages for details). While the first Activity Check is still on the distant horizon, your character is instantly granted SP from missions when the event results go up. You can purchase individual rewards with SP, and you can also donate it to the Star Suite, a game-wide reward pool that will unlock cool new stuff for all characters when the target is reached!
